Cookie Policy
Last updated: April 6, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Nexus HQ uses cookies and similar technologies (such as localStorage and session storage) when you visit our marketing site and use our product. We try to keep this simple: we use the smallest number of cookies we can get away with, and we do not use advertising or third-party analytics cookies on our own site.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device to remember information between visits. They can be set by the site you are visiting (“first-party cookies”) or by a third party whose content is embedded on the site (“third-party cookies”). Browsers also expose related technologies such as localStorage and sessionStorage, which behave similarly and are covered by this policy.
Cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These are required for the Service to function. You cannot opt out of them without breaking the site.
- Supabase authentication session (cookies prefixed with
sb-) — used to keep you signed in and to protect against CSRF. Set by our first-party domain via the Supabase SDK. - Vercel infrastructure cookies — a small set of cookies used by our hosting provider for load balancing, preview deployments, and security.
Functional
These remember your preferences so the product behaves the way you expect.
- Theme preference (stored in
localStorage) — remembers whether you prefer dark or light mode. - Active workspace (
active_org_id, stored inlocalStorage) — remembers which workspace you last opened so you return to it on your next visit.
Analytics
None currently. We do not use Google Analytics, Mixpanel, PostHog, or any similar third-party analytics cookies on our marketing site. If that changes, we will update this page and, where required, ask for your consent.
Advertising
None. We do not run ads on our own site and we do not set advertising cookies for ourselves. (We help our customers run ads on third-party platforms, but that is a different thing.)
How to manage cookies
Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings. You can block all cookies, allow only first-party cookies, delete cookies when you close the browser, or clear cookies manually. Please note that blocking the strictly-necessary cookies listed above will prevent you from signing in to Nexus HQ.
You can also clear localStorage and sessionStoragevalues (including theme and active workspace preferences) from your browser’s developer tools or by clearing site data.
Changes to this Policy
If we change the cookies or similar technologies we use, we will update this page and update the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be communicated in-product or by email where appropriate.
